30 New Medical Colleges Added in 2023

The Indian government has approved the establishment of 50 new medical colleges in India in 2023. These colleges will add a total of 8,195 MBBS seats to the country's existing pool of medical seats. The new colleges are located in 15 states across India, with Telangana receiving the most with 13 new colleges. Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh follow with 5 new colleges each.
