Karnataka AYUSH NEET UG Counselling 2025: Stray Vacancy Round 2 Schedule Released

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for the Karnataka AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) Undergraduate 2025 second stray vacancy round. This round has been introduced to fill seats that continue to remain vacant, were cancelled, or were added following the completion of the previous stray vacancy round.

According to the official notice, the fresh option entry window for the Karnataka AYUSH UG 2025 second stray vacancy round is active until 10 am on 27 November, 2025. Only candidates who did not receive an allotment in the earlier stray vacancy round are permitted to take part.

Eligible applicants may submit their choices through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KEA has emphasised that option entries provided in any previous round of the Karnataka AYUSH UG 2025 counselling process will not be taken into account. Allotments will be finalised strictly on the basis of merit and the newly entered preferences.

Eligibility conditions

The authority has outlined specific rules for participation in the second stray vacancy round:

• Candidates who joined medical or dental colleges in any earlier rounds, those who obtained provisional allotment in round three, or those who secured a seat in the first stray vacancy round are not eligible.

• Candidates who reported to institutions under the first, second or mop-up rounds of All India Counselling, or those admitted to Deemed Universities or Central Universities, are also not allowed to participate.

• KEA has stated that once a fresh seat is allotted in the Karnataka AYUSH Undergraduate 2025 second stray vacancy round, any previously allotted seat will be cancelled automatically and cannot be reclaimed.

• Admission to the newly allotted college is compulsory. Candidates must ensure that they collect their original documents from their current institution in order to complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time.

  KEA has also referred to Government Order No. AKUKA 345 PIM 2025, dated 2 August 2025, noting that all remaining NonResident Indian (NRI) seats will be offered under the Others quota at the same NRI fee structure. Candidates wishing to opt for NRI seats may include these choices in their option entry form.
