NEET UG 2026: Rahul Gandhi Demands Accountability Amid Paper Leak Allegations
In a social media post, Rahul Gandhi alleged that the education system is being damaged by recurring paper leak incidents and said students are being forced to suffer because of administrative failures. He also claimed that reports of questions circulating before the examination have raised serious doubts among aspirants and parents across the country.
The controversy intensified after Rajasthan Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) launched an investigation into claims that several questions matched material shared on WhatsApp before the exam. According to reports, investigators are examining whether an organised network was involved in leaking exam-related content.
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also criticised the situation, saying repeated paper leak incidents are hurting honest students who prepare for years to clear competitive exams. She urged authorities to ensure strict punishment if any malpractice is confirmed.
Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has maintained that the examination was conducted under tight security arrangements. Officials stated that the matter is under investigation and action will be taken based on evidence collected by central agencies and state police teams.
