Bihar NEET UG 2025 stray vacancy counselling opens: Register by Nov 20 for MBBS, BDS, BVSc seats

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has activated the registration for NEET UG 2025 stray vacancy counselling. Candidates who were not allotted seats in the preceding rounds may now submit applications and fill choices online up to 10 pm on November 20 via the official portal, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. This session intends to allocate open MBBS, BDS, and BVSc & AH places at both public and private institutions throughout Bihar.

Within this capstone round, 299 seats are available. These comprise 48 MBBS positions at government medical colleges and 167 MBBS seats at private institutions. For those pursuing BDS, government colleges hold 6 seats while 9 are listed at private dental colleges. An additional 19 Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) openings round out the options, providing a closing avenue for applicants this year.

Applicants are reminded of several critical dates: registration and choice entry must wrap up by November 20, and all choices need locking by 11:59 pm that evening. The NEET UG rank card will be issued November 21. Seat allotment outcomes are set for release on November 25. Those securing a seat can download their allotment letters between November 25 and 29, with document verification arranged for November 27 to 29.

Fee requirements differ based on category and seat type. General applicants vying for government college seats are charged Rs 1,200; SC and ST candidates pay Rs 600. Anyone applying for private college places—regardless of category—faces a Rs 1,200 fee. All counselling steps remain digital to accelerate admissions and document scrutiny.

An array of institutions is participating. Among government MBBS colleges: PMC Patna, IGIMS Patna, A.N.M.M.C. Gaya, and others present open seats. Private medical colleges such as Himalaya Medical College & Hospital, Paliganj, and K.M.C. Katihar hold numerous vacancies. For BDS, government and private options exist—GDC, Rahui Nalanda, and Buddha Institute of Dental Science & Hospital feature among them. The official BCECEB website carries the comprehensive seat matrix and full list of participating colleges for consultation.
