NEET-UG 2025 : Candidate's Plea In Supreme Court Challenges Result.

The petitioner, who is taking the NEET-UG exam, claims that the provisional answer key contained obvious errors that the NTA did not correct in its final answer key, despite the petitioner's objections. According to the petitioner, the answer to Question No.136 (Code No.47) is wrong.  The petitioner has achieved a General Category rank of 3195 and an All India rank of 6783. If the incorrect answer is corrected, the petitioner will get 5 more marks, improving his position, the petition states.

The matter will be heard by a partial working days bench comprising Justices PS Narasimha and R Mahadevan tomorrow.  According to the authoritative NCERT texts, the petitioner asks the NTA to correct the alleged error in the answer key and update the results accordingly. The petitioner also sought stay of the counselling process as an interim relief.
